Porn or Art?

Does a mass of naked bodies photographed in exotic locations automatically equal art?  Or just high production value pornography?  When I look at work like this and other displays that really pushes boundaries, like the voyeurism of Kohei Yoshiyuki’s creepy collection “The Park”, I look for some sort of connection.  Connection is a vague term and I don’t really have a specific definition other than a feeling that resonates on some level that feels larger than myself.  To me, this is absolutely art because it looks at nudity in an unsexual way and instead looks at it in relation to the environment in an unfiltered and raw way.  Does a person’s relationship to their surroundings change when they are no longer shaped or externally predefined by the style of clothing they’re wearing?  How differently do we look at each other if we’re not allowed to be filtered by our culture bias’ first?  What do we see when we see people in our most raw untouched and naked form?
